L3 Azure_Cloud_Engineer (Azure, VMware, AVD)

• Monitor and operate cloud-based systems/applications on Azure to ensure stability and reliability.
• Master Image Management
• Install AVD connection program, guide user to connection
• AVD connection failure support, AVD security patch
• Simple inquiry, AD policy inquiry
• Handle L2 incidents: perform root cause analysis, collaborate with relevant teams for resolution, and minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular system maintenance, backups, health checks, and report system statuses.
• Manage and support Azure resources such as VMs, AKS, Storage Accounts, Active Directory/Entra, Application Gateway, Keyvault, etc.
• Participate in disaster recovery (DR) drills/testing and ensure systems meet security, compliance, and governance requirements.
• Build and maintain monitoring dashboards, alerts, and reports to support operations and enhance monitoring efficiency.
• Write and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOP), and operational guides for internal teams.  

Required:

3+ years of experience in IT support, with at least 2+ years focused on Azure Virtual Desktop

Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Networking, Virtual Machines, Storage, and Identity Management

Experience with FSLogix profile management

Expertise in Windows Server, Windows 10/11 multi-session, and Active Directory (on-prem & Azure AD)

Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting for automation

Familiarity with Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and Group Policy management

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

- Preferred:

Microsoft Certifications (e.g., AZ-140, AZ-104, AZ-500).

Experience with Windows 365 Cloud PC.

Knowledge of WVD/AVD scaling, cost management, and optimization.

Experience in hybrid AVD deployments.

Understanding of Citrix or VMware Horizon in relation to AVD.
