Job Responsibilities:
As a Smart Meter Software Development Engineer, you will work on critical projects in developing software for smart meter systems using FreeRTOS. You will play an instrumental role in two primary projects:
AT Command Development: Designing, implementing, and testing AT command capabilities to support smart meter functionalities and communication interfaces.
DLMS Protocol Implementation: Developing and optimizing software modules for DLMS (Device Language Message Specification) protocol to ensure secure and efficient data exchange in smart meter systems.
Additional responsibilities include:
Integrating and optimizing FreeRTOS for smart meter applications, focusing on real-time performance and resource efficiency.
Troubleshooting, debugging, and maintaining high-performance, scalable code for smart meters.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align software functionalities with hardware capabilities and project requirements.
Documenting software architecture and processes to support smooth project management and ensure high standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
Operating System: Strong expertise in FreeRTOS for real-time, embedded applications.
Platform: STM32
AT Command Parser: Experience in developing and parsing AT commands.
DLMS Protocol: Solid understanding and experience with the DLMS protocol for secure data exchange in smart metering.
